Day 4 - "No, I'm Just Some Lady"
We spent a quieter day today exploring the Hyde Park area of Chicago. It's very lovely and has some great architecture, especially inside the University of Chicago campus.
In the evening, we (just) caught a show at the Second City. Then off for a very late dinner at with our old friend Steak n' Shake.
We've had a great time in Chicago this week. It's a wonderful city with lots to see and do.
Well done, Chicago.

Day 3 - "Being a Turtle Would So Suuuuuuck"
Today we visited the Alder Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium.
Then we ate some deep-dish Chicago pizza. It was everything you could want in a pizza.

Day 2 - "Ketchup is NOT used on a Chicago-style hot dog."
After a night of rest, day 2 saw us actually going into Chicago proper. We began our morning with a Chicago Architecture Foundation boat cruise of the Chicago River. It was extremely fascinating. Chicago has such a rich architectural history that it's hard to turn your head in any direction without seeing something amazing.
We stopped for lunch at a place that serves italian beef sandwiches. Very messy and delicious.
The Chicago Art Institute has so many pieces by so many famous artists, that it will eventually break your brain.
Finally, we ended up at US Cellular Field to watch the White Sox take on the Rays. The Rays took it 3-2 in the 9th. Oh, and we also got to try a Chicago-style hot dog. At a ball park no less!
We hope everybody's well back home. See you tomorrow!

Day 1 - "In Sight, It Must Be Right."
After some last minute car repairs this morning (replacing the headlight bulb), we set off for The Windy City.
Despite a slightly scary moment on Hwy 401 when we ran over a freshly-blown out truck tire (we're fine), our trip was very pleasant and easy. Traffic was mostly a breeze and crossing the border couldn't have been simpler.
In Kalamazoo, Michigan we stopped for dinner. We'd read many great things about Steak n' Shake from loyal customers, so we stopped in. We are now loyal customers recommending it to you. Steakburgers and Dark Chocolate Milkshakes. Hell yeah.
We arrived at our hotel tired, but excited for the rest of our Chicago adventure. Check back tomorrow for updates!
